The area features a number of shopping sites, such as Roosevelt Field Shopping Center, which is at a distance of 2.8 km from the accommodation. Long Island Marriott Hotel is also really close to Hempstead Turnpike & James Doolittle Boulevard bus stop.

As a frequent solo traveler for business retreats, I decided to stay at the Marriott for a corporate event. the hotel's location was stellar, an ideal spot near the Nassau Coliseum where my business conference took place. However, my room experience was a letdown. Despite the exquisite lobby and courteous staff, the delay in room readiness and the mismatch between my booked room and what was provided left me feeling frustrated. In terms of business amenities, the hotel offers an impressive 18 unique meeting rooms and banquet halls, including the expansive 9,720-square-foot Grand Ballroom. the ability to work remotely was facilitated by the extensive 21,853 square feet of conference space and meeting rooms, perfect for networking and collaborative sessions. While the hotel boasts top-notch facilities like a gym, indoor pool, and on-site dining options, the lack of attention to detail in room allocation dampened the overall experience. For the price paid, the stay didn't quite meet the expectations I hold for Marriott as a trusted hotel chain for business travelers.
